During the period from 1994 to 1997, SPERI has conducted case studies in communities of the Gia Rai and Ba Na ethnic groups  in Nghia Hoa and Hoa Phu communes, Chu Pah and Chu Se districts, Gia Lai province. The primary concerns of case studies relate to community right to forest and land, community governance and sustainable community development.

The above case studies were supported by ICCO - the Netherlands.
