During the period from 1994 to 2000, SPERI conducted case studies in communities of the Tai Dam in Noong Teng village, Bun To commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province. The primary concerns relate to community development, right of ethnic minority rights to forestland and community governance, saving-credit and household economic development.

The above case studies were supported by ICCO - the Netherlands.
