Since late 1999, CHESH Lao which is one amongst programs of the Center for Human Ecology Studies of Highlands (CHESH), the former organization of SPERI has been implementing the research and development activities in different ethnic minority communities such as Lao Loum, Khmu, Hmong, Lu, etc. in Luang Prabang province, Laos. In addition, the CHESH Lao has expanded its activities and achievements with other local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
